Bill Iliffe is Video Ghost. A lot of his work is centred around hypnotic and contorted electronic sounds, producing a sort of psychedelic ambience. The shortness and the repetitive nature to a lot of his songs also gives a certain similar rhythm that envelops you and poisons your consciousness with vibrations for a minute or so. Built on loops primarily, it eats into the psyche, like some David Lynch esque mind warp trick.

Deep below the surface of this song, there is still an underlining idea of melody, implemented by guitar, but that soon fades out, like some kind of spector of hope, there briefly but quickly snatched away.
