The album which this song comes from ("//UR NOT DEEP UR NOT FUNNY UR NT ARTSY UR NOT SMART OR ANY OF THE BULLSHIT U TRY TO BE NOBODY FUCKING LIKES UR BULSHIT AND NOBODY FUCKING LIKES U//") is loaded with different, varying ideas, mostly centred around polite and delicate ambience. Some tracks on it barely even reach any kind of climax because most of it is a slow build from nothing at all to something so subtle that it passes by you. However, the album feels less of a selection of songs and more of an entire sound. It progresses and weaves over time, each track with a different element to add.

//emc// was the song I felt most represented what i wanted to do with this compilation. It's really relaxing and plush and has a very warm, uplifting feel to it.
